W10 Reflection

This week’s study on Dream Big Dreams was really good. I’ve always had a lot of dreams for my future starting my own business, becoming successful, having a strong family, all of that but sometimes those dreams feel so big that I’m not even sure where to start. This week helped me understand that big dreams aren’t supposed to feel comfortable. They’re supposed to push you, stretch you, and make you grow into someone better. One thing I really liked from the readings and videos was the reminder that dreaming big isn’t just about imagining cool things for your life. You have to actually build the foundation for those dreams. That means habits, routines, skills, good people around you, and being patient with the process. It made me realize that my dreams are possible, but they’re not going to magically appear out of nowhere.

Another huge takeaway for me was the spiritual side of dreaming big. A lot of the talks reminded me of things I learned on my mission especially that when you bring Jesus Christ into the middle of your plans, everything becomes clearer. I’ve noticed that in my own life. When the gospel is part of my decisions, I feel more guided and more confident about where I’m going. It even changed the path I took for college. And honestly, I’m grateful for that. The biggest thing I’m looking forward to now is figuring out the steps between where I am and where I want to be. I know the dreams I have are big, but I also know they’re doable if I stay focused, work hard, and keep the Lord involved. This week just made me realize that dreaming big isn’t unrealistic it’s actually the first step to becoming the person I’m trying to be.
