W08 Reflection

This week’s study on overcoming challenges really hit home for me. It made me realize that struggles and setbacks are not just part of life, but actually an important part of learning and growth. I think a lot of times we focus so much on success that we forget how much we can gain from failure. After going through this week’s readings and videos, I can see more clearly that challenges are what shape our character and make us stronger. One of the things that stood out to me was how much attitude matters. When tough things happen, I can either let them drag me down or I can learn from them. I liked how the material talked about how every hero faces moments of doubt or fear, but what defines them is how they keep moving forward anyway. It reminded me that the times when I feel most uncomfortable or unsure are often when I’m growing the most.

I also really liked Elder Holland’s message about trusting in the Lord through our challenges. He said that good things take time, and that patience and faith are key to getting through hard moments. That really stuck with me because sometimes I expect results too quickly. Whether it’s in business, school, or personal goals, I need to remember to trust God’s timing and keep doing my part. What I’m looking forward to learning more about is how to stay consistent in my faith and attitude when things get hard. It’s easy to be positive when everything’s going right, but real growth happens when you stay strong through the challenges. This week helped me see that overcoming trials isn’t about avoiding failure it’s about learning, trusting, and becoming better because of it.
