  This week’s study, So You Want to Be an Entrepreneur , really opened my eyes to what it takes to actually live that kind of life. I used to think being an entrepreneur was all about having a cool idea and working hard until you made a ton of money. But after going through this week’s readings and videos, I realized there’s way more to it than that. It’s not just about business it’s about who you become in the process. One thing that really stood out to me was how much of entrepreneurship is about character. You have to build habits, stay disciplined, and have the guts to keep going even when things don’t work out. I liked how it talked about the difference between skill, luck, and character. Skill and luck can help you sometimes, but character is what actually keeps you moving forward.  This week’s A Hero’s Journey video really got me thinking about what success actually means and how it’s not just about money or recognition, but about finding purpose and meaning in what we do. One of my biggest takeaways was that every person has the potential to live their own hero’s journey to face challenges, grow from them, and make a difference in the lives of others. I liked how the video compared life to a journey instead of a race. It reminded me that what really matters is who you become along the way, not just what you achieve. Something else that stood out to me was the message about calling. The video talked about finding work that matters and doing something that aligns with your values. It made me realize that being successful isn’t just about making money or having nice things it’s about living a life that feels meaningful and being proud of who you are.  Hunter Robison 10/03/25 This week’s lesson on honesty and business ethics really made me think about the kind of person I want to be, especially if I ever run my own business. One of the main things I learned is that honesty isn’t just about telling the truth it’s also about being consistent and doing the right thing even when nobody’s watching. That part hit me because it’s easy to talk about being honest, but actually living it out every day can be a lot harder, especially when things get stressful or money is involved. Something that really stood out to me was how important trust and reputation are in business. If people know they can rely on you, that’s worth more than money in the long run.
