W07 Reflection
This week’s lesson on the 7 Habits really got me thinking about how I want to live my life and the kind of person I’m trying to become. Out of all the habits, the one that meant the most to me was Be Proactive. It sounds simple, but it really hit me because it’s something I know I can work on. Being proactive is all about taking responsibility for your choices and not blaming other people or circumstances when things get tough. I’ve realized that a lot of times I react without thinking, and this habit reminded me that I always have a choice in how I handle things.
For me, being proactive is more about attitude than anything else. Life doesn’t always go the way I plan, and sometimes I get frustrated or lose motivation when things don’t turn out right. But this habit really taught me that I can either dwell on it or get up and move forward. When I take responsibility and stay positive, I feel more in control and less stressed, even if things aren’t perfect. It’s a good reminder that progress comes from consistent effort, not luck or waiting for things to happen.
I also really liked how the 7 habits are divided into private victories and public victories. The first three are about personal growth and becoming the best version of yourself, while the next ones are about building relationships, working with others, and keeping balance. I think that’s a great way to look at success it’s not just about what you accomplish, but who you are while you do it.
These habits are definitely going to help me live with more passion and purpose. They remind me to focus on what I can control, make time for the things that matter, and keep pushing forward even when things get hard. If I can stick with these habits, I know they’ll help me become more confident, consistent, and fulfilled in both my personal and professional life.
