W02 Reflection
This week I watched Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture, and it really made me think about dreams and what they mean. Randy was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams, and I think it’s because he never gave up on them. He treated them like real goals instead of just things to wish for. When he ran into roadblocks, he looked at them as lessons or opportunities to grow instead of reasons to quit. His attitude and determination were a big part of why he reached so many of the things he set out to do. I honestly think dreaming is really important. Dreams give us something to look forward to and push us to keep moving forward. Without them, life might feel boring or like we’re just going through the motions. Even if you don’t reach every dream, just trying for them can shape your life in a good way. One of my childhood dreams has been to create my own business.
